Graduate Project Blog Week 14- Finalising all the Episodes & Colour Grading

This week has been pretty stressful and similar to last week. I have been editing consistently everyday and finally it seems things are coming to a close. I have essentially completed all the major editing for all of the episodes, with just final touches needed to be made to them individually. In addition, the final stage of post-production is going to be on colour grading which I will need to focus on asap too.

Additional Actions

There are not any additional actions taken this week, it has mainly been a focus on propelling progression in post-production so that it can come to a close. Although, something I will have to do on the 21/05/21 is cancel my subscription to our resource site for archive and audio 'Storyblocks'.

General Assignments:

My Assignments:

• To finish up the final touches with all the episodes checking precisely everything is in order by 19/05/21. By this date too I would like to have started colour grading for episodes 2 and 3.

Completed Tasks in the Edit:

• All footage has been cut and placed in the timeline- for all episodes

• Narration has been synced up with footage-for all episodes

• Music has been incorporated for episodes 1 and 2 but still finalising episode 3

• Missing archive footage has been identified and now filled- for all episodes

• Most graphics has been incorporated but I am awaiting font and text changes for some GFX in all episodes

• All SFX have been added and dubbed in the timeline-for all episodes

Tasks to Progress the Edit:

• Finalise music for episode 3-by trialling a different music genre for a particular scene to see if it works

• Final overview and brush up of all episodes

• To begin colour grading asap
