Graduate Project Blog Week 13- Editing Progression & Episode 2

This week has been pretty stressful to sum up. I have been editing consistently everyday but it has paid off with the very close completion of episode 1 and the final stages of episode 2.

Additional Actions

I decided to buy an external hard drive due to my laptop running out of storage, to be able to work faster returning to edit multiple episodes on demand and also to ensure that all my work on the edits was being backed-up securely. An image of my research into external hard drives can be seen towards the bottom of this blog.

• To finish up episode 1 completely likewise, for episode 2. I am also at the stage where I will be commencing the edit for episode 3, which is our final episode.

Completed Tasks in the Edit:

• All footage has been cut and placed in the timeline

• Narration has been synced up with footage

• Music has been incorporated for episode 1

• Missing archive footage has been identified and now filled

• All graphics have been included

• All SFX have been added

Tasks to Progress the Edit:

• Add one more language audio piece for episode 1 (still awaiting for audio)

• Add music in episode 2

• Final overview and brush up of both episodes
